Role: Head Housekeeper
Operation: 4 Star Hotel
Location: Perthshire
Salary: £35k+

Ellis Mack is currently working with a luxury boutique hotel in Perthshire, looking for a Head Housekeeper.

Role/Responsibilities:

• Managing the housekeeping team and public areas
• Managing the weekly rotas and timesheets
• Carrying out the team’s performance reviews
• Ensure that staff training is undertaken
• Ensure that room checks take place regularly
• Daily staff briefings and guests requests
• Looking after the staff uniform and ordering system
• Maintaining the housekeeping of the lodges and the staff accommodation
• Deep cleaning schedule at the end of the season
• Liaison with maintenance
• Manage the P & L Budget for the housekeeping department
• Be aware of the annual budget and how housekeeping fits into that budget

Skills/ Experience:

• Proven management ability in a similar role
• Experience in a 4/5-star property
• To be passionate about cleanliness, presentation and maintaining high standards
• To work well under pressure in challenging & very busy operations
• Able to liaise with other HOD's
• Career motivated with high standards
