Ellis Mack is currently working with one of Scotlands most successful independent operators.
The concept is very simple honest cooking using seasonal produce. Preferably given the concept you will need to have grill restaurant experience or have worked to a concept before and understand how to deliver that concept to company standard.
Overview of the Head Chef Role & Responsibilities:
You will be required to ensure that all menu dishes are prepared with attention to detail and to company spec.
You will be required to manage the kitchen brigade, motivate the team and share knowledge, training and developing chefs within the team.
Cook safe system used all H&S legislation is a big part of this role
The role reports directly to the General Manager and works closely with the area chef
You will be organised, an excellent communicator and a very hands on chef.
Experience of working in a similar quality fresh food branded operation is required and an excellent knowledge of brand is necessary.
Current intermediate food hygiene certificate would be beneficial
